Thursday, October 11, 4:00 PM, Lampwork Glass Demonstration, Delilah Davis
Midwest glass artisan Delilah Davis will demonstrate the steps she goes through as she creates a one-of-a-kind miniature work of art in glass. Known for her beautifully rendered (and sometimes whimsical) designs, she will create for us a floral glass paperweight using a torch, glass canes, and other tools of the trade.

Thursday, October 11, 5:30 PM, Lilies of the Valley, Ann Olson
What judges are looking for on a blue ribbon tray specialized to lilies of the valley.

Friday, October 12, 7:00 PM, Button Folk Art, Becky Lyon
There is a whole world out there beyond buttons as closures. This program will explore creations from tribal to those from contemporary artists. A special emphasis will be on the ‘outsider art’ of the early button collectors in the hope that more of this is preserved and appreciated.

Saturday, October 13, 11:00 AM, Gemstone Buttons, Karen Leibold
This hands-on workshop will explore clues that can be utilized to identify and describe gemstones, organic materials, and construction techniques found in gemstone buttons. Following the workshop session several gemstone button collections will be on display — providing an opportunity to not only see wonderful buttons but to also practice finding clues!

Thursday – Saturday
Throughout the show enjoy an exhibit of antique and vintage clothing with original buttons, button sales sample cards, and other button related ephemera.
